Bohol, Philippine Islands. Went out to see one of the smallest monkeys in the world - the Philippine Tarsier. Using my Nikon D750 paired with the 105mm micro, it was worth matching it with a mid-tele macro lens.
It wasn't easy taking this shot as the Tarsier was partially hidden but I was able to focus on its eyes. The auto focus was again tip top. The Nikon D750's focusing grid allowed me to chose which part of the sensor I can get the focus grid on. It's very easy to change and handle.
These creatures are tiny and are asleep during the day but I was lucky they were awake and was able to take these snaps. Problem is the lighting. I did add some post processing.
This was the first shot and had to adjust some of the parameters. Thanks to the beautiful lens that I was able to capture details even with high ISO, the D750 handled it well.
