Zorki-4

I recently bought a Russian film cam. I didn't know that it had light leaks and I was happily taking pictures until I developed it.  The guy who sold it to me never said anything about the light leak and he sold it very expensively!
The old fort of Dubai.

I guess he's missing home...

This was taken in Bastakia at it was sunset almost.

At the back of the old souq where all these Pakistani workers rest.

My series of shots in Paris

A couple playing for passersby but I guess I was the only one having the ear for their so called duet which was actually nice. I handed out, it was such an incidence I happened to pass by.

I was trying to take a shot of the wall but then she suddenly passed so I quickly took the shot. I miss Paris.

I was in Louvre and it was so hot and saw everyone dipping their feet in the water.

Late afternoon and found the shadows quite interesting.

Back to Film

I haven't really posted so much on my blog as my life has been revolving just like any other ordinary human citizen of this planet.  But now I will be posting my new found interest which is actually not new but have been doing it for sometime but never quite posted it on this blog. So I am changing my blog to give more focus on my photography which I have started when I remembered holding my dad's Minolta SLR which was ages ago! I used to play with the settings and love to hear the shutter click. After that, I was busy finishing school so I never got the chance to take pictures.  Until I was in Saudi Arabia and bought my very own Yashica SLR. Took some shots but never got the chance to really take good pics with it. I fell into the pool with it one day when my friend pushed me for no reason at all. Stupid! Anyhow, I progressed having an Ixus Canon (it was still film) and then I moved to another place in UAE, bought my first Canon 20D. Then I started to take pics. I progressed to different camera models with the same brand up to the professional one. I bought, sold, bought, and sold.  It was too heavy, too many settings, couldn't quite remember if I was taking a photograph or fiddling with the menus.  This year, it hit me. I couldn't take the heaviness and lugging around all that stuff just so I look professional or even look like a photographer. I forgot what Photography was.
